Charlotte - 4 Months!

Well, she turned 4 months on Saturday, but I was waiting for her 4 month appointment to get some stats on her..

The nurse and doctor (who I love) both said she was growing like a weed.  She has jumped up from around the 15% in height and weight to just over the 25% in both.  Her head is still in the 50% range.

Weight- 12.12.4
Height- 24. 1/2inches

Diaper Size 1-2 (we have both so we've been using both)
Clothing Size- mostly 3mo, but some 3-6 months
Favorite Food.. and only food- Milk Still.  Doctor said I can wait until 6 months to introduce cereal because of the need for iron at that point.  For now, I'm putting off the mess and hassle of starting foods while she seems content without.  Funny how different I was with Trevor.

Personality- We still have a happy little girl who is pretty laid back.  She cries when she is hungry, tired, or needs a good burp.  Most of the time, she just looks around and smiles back at whoever pays her attention with those big sweet dimples.

Sleeping- For the most part, she goes several hours without waking.  Of course, (last night) we do have the occasional nights where she is up a couple of times to snack.  But on a good night (4/7) I'm lucky to have her sleep from 7:30pm-6:00am.  She still sleeps swaddled up.  Those swaddles that still fit are definitely getting snug!

Obstacles- BIG BROTHER.  The honeymoon period has slightly worn off and while I truly do not think Trevor would do anything to hurt her if I wasn't around, has learned that he can gain major attention by inflicting pain onto his sister usually in the form of slapping or poking in the face.  At this point in my life, few things make me more upset that seeing Trevor bother such a perfectly innocent baby.  I hope this is also a quick phase.... She is going to be one tough kid (guess like most 2nd siblings).

In other news.. the doctor seemed impressed with her motor skills and strength.  She is rolling over and has good head control and LOVES to stand while holding onto you.  She will lock up her legs completely.   We have stopped the Zantac this week and hopefully now that Charlotte is more upright, she won't have as many difficulties with spitting up.  Still lots of spit up, but still never seems to bother her.  Only bothers the pretty new outfits that I've always just changed her into:).

And here is her progression in photos....
